Our Review Process
The review process begins before the first sentence is written and continues after publication. We apply the same methodology to every betting company we cover, regardless of its size or any commercial relationship with our site. Each assessment follows eight stages:
We record when each stage is completed so we can trace the evidence behind a review and identify what changed during later updates.
What We Evaluate
Every review uses seven fixed criteria. Together, they cover operator safety and transparency, the betting product, payments, bonuses, user experience, support, and responsible gambling. If an operator does not provide a feature relevant to a criterion, we record its absence in that score instead of removing the criterion.
Safety and Operator Transparency
We identify the legal entity operating the brand, its stated country of incorporation, ownership, and official domains. We also check whether the stated licence number and issuer can be matched to an official register. The assessment covers connection encryption, account-protection options such as two-factor authentication, the privacy policy, and identity-verification procedures. We do not perform penetration testing, and we clearly label information that cannot be independently confirmed as undocumented.
Betting Product
We evaluate the range of sports and markets instead of relying only on an advertised sports count. This includes Egyptian football, major European leagues, sports relevant to users in Egypt, and both pre-match and live betting. We compare odds in similar markets during the same period and assess the betslip, Cash Out, Bet Builder, statistics, and live streaming when available. If an operator offers casino games, we also consider the variety and depth of that product. A feature shown in the interface is not counted as available in Egypt if it does not work there.
Payment Methods
We examine deposit and withdrawal methods presented for Egyptian accounts, including confirmed local options such as mobile wallets or instant transfers, as well as cards and international e-wallets. We record published minimums and maximums, processing periods, fees, and supported currencies. Deposits and withdrawals are assessed separately because a method available for depositing may not be available for cashing out.
Bonuses and Terms
We do not rate an offer by its headline value alone. The review considers eligibility for users in Egypt, the qualifying deposit, wagering requirements, minimum odds, validity period, excluded sports or markets, and withdrawal restrictions. The score reflects the practical value of the terms rather than only the advertised bonus amount.
User Experience
We assess how easy the site is to use on desktop and mobile browsers, including the steps required to reach the betslip and payment section. We also check for an Android or iOS app, an APK, or a progressive web app and whether it can be accessed from Egypt. Navigation, mobile performance, the clarity of the Arabic interface, and right-to-left support are included in this criterion.
Customer Support
We record available contact channels, such as live chat, email, telephone, and messaging apps, together with stated operating hours and languages. When possible, we ask support at least one practical question and assess the response time, usefulness of the answer, and availability of help in Arabic. If a channel cannot be tested, we say so instead of assuming its quality.
Responsible Gambling
We review tools intended to help users control their activity, such as deposit and loss limits, time reminders, cooling-off periods, self-exclusion, and self-assessment tools. We also check whether the operator provides a clear responsible-gambling page, applies its age requirement, and links to independent support organisations. Missing essential information or controls reduces this criterion score.
How We Calculate Scores
Our rating system uses published weights rather than a general impression. Each operator receives a score from 1 to 10 for every criterion, with one decimal place where needed. Each criterion score is multiplied by its weight, and the results are added to produce the final score out of 10. This means a published result, such as 8.7 out of 10, can be traced back to the seven criterion scores shown below.
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Safety and operator transparency | 25% |
| Betting product | 20% |
| Payment methods | 15% |
| Bonuses and terms | 10% |
| User experience | 10% |
| Customer support | 10% |
| Responsible gambling | 10% |

Editorial Independence
Editorial independence means commercial partnerships do not affect scores or rankings. We may receive a commission when a reader opens an account through a link on our pages, but that revenue does not give an operator additional points. Ratings are based only on the seven criteria above, and an operator with no commercial relationship is assessed in the same way. To make the process transparent, we publish the criterion weights and the date of the latest review.
About the Editorial Team
Our workflow separates research from editorial review. Analysts research and directly assess the product, including registration, deposits, betting, and withdrawals when those steps are available, and document relevant evidence with dated screenshots. A different editor then checks the copy, sources, accuracy, and consistency before approving publication. Any claim that is not supported by the evidence is returned for review or clearly marked as unconfirmed.
